Excalibur Mounted Arrow Quiver

Post by TrapperBob »

Maybe I am just cranky but does anyone find the Excalibur quiver kind of useless?

1. It is very uncomfortable while the bow is slung.

2. Very difficult to remove and replace bolts.

3. In the stand it has to come off to use a shooting stick.

4. I tried to sling it off my belt and while boonie bashing while moose hunting and I lost one bolt with broad head.

I think I will go to Canada Trash and pick up a vertical bow quiver and trash the one that came with my bow.

Anyone else feel the same?

Bob - what you need is a GroundPounder or Munch quiver mount. Best add-on you can choose, right after the Boo string.

Look in the Trading Post section. Here are links for both of the mounts:

I have one of each and you can't go wrong with either one!

reason for the under mounting quiver is to accomodate for a scope and the range finder on top of the xbow

If you go with the over the bow mount they are high enough so the scope looks under it you won't even know its there. There is lots of room to load your arrow as well.Slinging you bow is easily done with these mounts.

I have one and the Varizone scope worked no problem with it.I no longer use a scope and have gone back to factory sights and they cause no problem with these either.

So which ever one you go with I am sure you will be delighted with it.

And you won't have to get rid of your quiver because these mounts take your quiver and release bracket.
