I hear you. 86 here just north of you. I'm still thinking of going out since I saw the big boy yesterday right at dark. I'm thinking the best chances are the last 30 minutes of shooting hours.

Actually, the best chance is probably well after shooting hours after it cools down a lot.

Be happy! It's monsoon season here in KY. :x Pour buckets last night and it's been raining most of the day. I'd like to go hunting tomorrow, but there's no way that I'm going to be able to get across the creek! :x I'd be afraid to even drive the tractor off in there.

best chance would be 10mins after its dark :P :P

i just dont want to deal with sweating and being out in this wind. I learned my lesson last year. It paid off but I ended up at the doctors twice for the flu :P

goodluck if you go;)

Anyone got a spare paddle?

Skys have opened up here in Southern Ohio.

I did see a buck however. He was with a doe. They were standing in line behind the pair of raccoons. The raccoons were behind a pair of coyotes, the coyotes behind a pair of squirrels, the squirrels behind a pair of chipmunks, etc.etc.etc..........................

Yup, 84* here in the Shenandoah Valley at 4 pm! Stayed home, got on this thing. Really messing up my limited hunting time! Haven't seen a deer on stand since last Saturday. Wind, heat, moon. Guess all I need now is the monsoons!
