congrats there is some good eaten there. :) looked like a high lung shot that will explain lack of blood. They got to fill up there chest cavity before they start leaking. I have had that happen to me before. Makes you second guess your shot though. Then a million thoughts go through your mind. Awesome feeling to walk up on the deer after a good shot well done. :D

Good story and congrats on the sucessful hunt...good pictures...I need to start taking my camera ...by the way I have been using the G5 Montec and just love them...I have had a couple of fatally shot deer not bleed much...and Just like Catcher said, sometimes they die so quick the chest cavity doesn't have time to fill with blood... :lol:

I messed up on my broadhead - I had purchased the Muzzy 3 blades and was trying them :oops: Guess I was in a hurry to get to work .. Sorry
