Ozzy
g'day bob nice to here from someone down under, no l buy from john at ausbow he as a rule has plenty in stock & parts also & archery mart in s.a, on the other note we can still buy them mail order from the australian dealer which is ausbow in south australia no permit needed. customs has to much crap to go through, as for our freedom to have these well no permit for western australia south australia & the northern territory. w.a l dont no for how long been lots of talk going on probley a permit oneday just through dickheads ah. another couple of cats or kangaroo's shot with a crossbow well thats all it will take & our freedom to own these will taken away. keep in regards frank

Hi blackjack, I look forward to seeing the photos to.

are you a member of an archery club or do you hunt locally with your crossbow? just wandering as there aren't many ethical bow hunters around Perth that I know of so it would be good to be able to get in contact with a few and the way things are going there may come a time when we may need to pull together! know what I mean?

I got my Phoenix from Ausbow industries with all the gear

cheers.

Ozzy Bob wrote:Thanks for the reply Frank, I'm in qld and you have to have a category m fire arms licence to own a xbow. The paper work, time, money and red tape is something I would not want to go through again. I hope it does not happen to you WA guy's!
By the way ever noticed when an animal is found with a arrow hanging out of it the media say's it's alway's from an xbow? and when it is from a xbow it's a picture of a cop holding some chinese made cheap peice of crap?.

Ozzy
me to.yes agree the cheap xbows are much of the problem any bum can buy one but with decent xboxs l feel that the people are more responceable, & the media is the media l remember when they were trying this stuff with sling-shots saying with a photo that using a ballbearing it would shoot a hole through a school locker well l've tryed it crap..keep in touch regards frank
