My season so far.

Started to bowhunt last year in December and loved it.

Now have 2 great properties and 2 trail cams as well as 6 stands.

I am very novice but this forum has taught me so much.

2 deer harvested in Oct.

This is the first...a fine eating button buck...20 yard shot....60 yard recovery...double lung.

My 2nd was a spike buck that I was able to grunt closer on a hydro cut as he would stop and paw the ground as he came in. My shot was bad through both front legs. I gave the deer one hour and had a great blood trail on a 300 yard recovery.....I was very lucky that he died of massive blood loss.

My 2 favorite trail cam pics so far....

I am off to 54B for the gun hunt with my best friend today but can not wait to get back to my bow stands in Huron County!

Hydro cut.........a cut (straight line) through thick woods or a thick swamp with hydro (electrical) poles.
