First Deer with my Excalibur Ibex

Post by Pun'kin Slinger »

I shot my first deer with my Excalibur Ibex tonight. The deer was angled towards me at about 10 yards. I shot through the upper right side and the deer dropped in it's tracks. It thrashed around for about a minute before it was dead. When I gutted the dear, the bolt was inside the body cavity with the broadhead just penetrating the bottom at the rear haunches. I'm really impressed with how it dropped this deer in it's tracks! This was only the second time I was out with the crossbow.

:D
