Is the print getting smaller?

Post by VixChix »

Actually, I know the print isn't getting any smaller.... it's my eyesight that's getting worse. I've been fortunate not to need glasses up 'til now, but it seems my luck will soon run out.

I wanted to share a trick I use when on the 'net:

To make text larger press Ctrl and + at the same time. Press again to make it even larger. Ctrl and - will make it smaller.

That little trick is letting me put off getting my eyes checked.

You could go under the laser Vix. And thanks for the text tip. I just used it!

I don't need the glasses yet Vix but nice tip on the print size. I just tried it and sure enough, it works.

What are you talking about Vix? These letters are already bigger than the bucks in Mike P's dreams.

Get those eyes checked . . .or just change the settings on your computer. :P

My niece just did the laser thing and she highly recommends it. Of course, it's only been a month. The procedure itself was OK and very little discomfort. She has 20/10 vision now.

I thought I may need glasses too, but my eyesight checked out fine. Turns out I had high blood sugar.

Wow, Vix!

You really are blind.

The key that you press along with "+" clearly says "command" ... not "control" ... or is that just my Mac? :?: :P

Seriously, though, where have you been?

I've been doing that since I was 41! :P 8)

You may also just hit Ctrl and use the wheel on your mouse to make the print larger and smaller.

Thanks for the tip. I'm in the same boat as VixChix, after 45 years of not needing glasses things are getting harder to focus on. Think I need to get them checked.
