This is my sons first deer he is very happy. I did every thing I could to persude him to wait on a bigger buck. I guess most all of us took spikes for our first deer so its ok. The property we were hunting I only shoot 8s or better wider then the ears. So it was very hard for me I waited untill the last posible second before giving him the go ahead to shoot. Glad I did he was very happy.

Good going, nice to see the kids getting out there. I'm sure it's just as much a trophy to him as an 8 ptr would be.

We all had to start somewhere. I think letting the kids get one under thier belt will starts a fire within them. Its alot better then going out and freezing and not getting anything and loose intrest. A big congrats on a fine trophy, Im sure he will be quite tastey!
