Tuesday night shot this doe with my muzzleloader. At 225 yard shot with a 75 yard recovery. ONE Buckeye left to harvest a deer :D

Just some observations.

One, the rifle looks smokeless with a really neat looking stock.

Two, your starting to look more bear then fred.

Three, your step daughter puts this picture over the top!

Four, I like the way you have your loads ready to go with the quick loaders in your top pocket.

Five, if I wasn't convinced before to acquire one of those smokeless wonders I am now. 225 yds. Whoa!

Six, and last, someone needs to help that last buckeye.

congrats Fred, see what happens when I'm not around...good things. Ha. I did shoot one yote just for you MikeP. I didn't see a single good buck all week, my time was spent saving the young ones.

The Swede and I hunted five days, mostly in the afternoon and did not see any good bucks as well Kenton, just some basket eights and sixes. The pressure had the big guys down during daylight hours.

Congrats on the yote! That kind of makes the week worthwhile. I have not killed one yet this deer season, have seen a lot, just none within range.

Maybe the big boys will return after five days of no gun hunting prior to the up coming last weekend of firearm season.

Very nice shooting, that kind of looks like an Ultimate Muzzleloader

Is that the manufacturer?
