With an Exomax you have more power. That means you can either shoot a flatter arrow trajectory. Or, you can shoot a heavier arrow which will give greater penetration. Or, you could arm your arrow with a wider cut broadhead, and increase your odds of making a clean, quick, kill.

Increased wear on serving and increased noise? Sure. That's the price for increased performance.

I Love my Exo! I debated over the exo or the Equinox. Thumbholes are cool, but the exo is a little longer in the stock and I'm a good sized fella. Worked out great for me, and so far, mine's not chewing up servings as is commonly written. I'm at about 120 shots on mine and the serving, although I'm starting to see a little separation, looks like it has another 20-30 shot left in it before I have to re-serve.

I had the Exomax for several years and it would punch right through a deer. In fact, I shot through the front shoulder blade of one so it's plenty powerful. I just sold mine to a buddy and I'm downsizing on my next one. I treestand hunt in Alabama mostly and it's pretty thick so I'm getting either the Ibex or Vortex this time which is shorter, not as wide and a bit easier to cock. 350 fps is good but I can do what I need to do with 300 fps. Hope this helps.
