my first from scratch arrows

Post by munch »

finally received the arrow wraps i had made by onestringer today so made my first 2 arrows
i think i like the black and red verses the white and red .i know they are not going to stand out
in a hunting situation but these are more just to shot and if i hunt with them they will have lighted nocks
the first is 375gr and the second is 378 just wonder how close others try to make them in weight.
it's hard to see the wrap in the pic so here is one laying flat

I think they are gonna be called "Crazymunch Blazing tiger whackers" :D :D

Popcorn is served.

When I make arrows I make sure they are identical Terry, no variations in weight at all. I use the G5 and trim it within a fraction of a grain, glue is measured, everything has to be perfect or they won't see my quiver. I figure if I am going to dedicate the time to sit down and make arrows I may as well go an extra step. The other benifit is that if I miss I know it was me, not the arrows.

looks good Munch. They from Battledrum? They have some very cool wraps. For 1 dollar more I get mine numbered so I know my best shooters.

Sure, with the munch mount on my crossbow and munch arrows that would be shooting out of it, all we would need are some hot models dancing around and we have ourselves a commercial.

looking good... onestringer makes some very good wraps. They are a pleasure to do business with and have hellova quick service. Its no limit on style wraps you can get now. I still like the plain white or yellow wraps for hunting since I want to see blood on the wrap :D The cool wraps I use to hang on the wall for looks
