Hardwater fishing

Post by Fork Horn »

Anyone on here ice fishing??
I was thinking of a trip to simcoe this weekend and wondered how thick the ice is in the bays?

Thanks

My home lake is Lake St clair. Mitchell's bay & St Lukes bay are good to go now. Going Sunday for the first time this year.

My son was in Cambridge last weekend and said there were geese and ducks all over the place. It must be a heck of a lot warmer there than here. Hasn't been a duck here for a month.

We have tons of ice on the Ottawa River. The trucks are starting out now so it's good and thick. You never want to be the first to do that though.

I'll be going out this weekend for the first time.

Keep your beer warm.
