g'day, 136 shots is not good mine have been sometimes around 40 to 60 or less then the wear shows itself on the serving & loops using the standard excal string but 140 or less & the string is buggered on mine shooting an equinox ( ) as for what other members have said about honeing try that its a great idea, also try the 2097 string made for the carved limb tip models l swear by it you can use on carved or moulded tip limbs. regards frank
