I also would like to know why we cannot enter the bear hunting contest? I have nothing against our neighbors, but we also support these businesses, so why NOT allow us all to enter? Come on, make it fair or give us a contest to go hunting in the USA! Please make it fair Bill!

Hi,

I was waiting for our first email addressing this. We are not offering the bear hunt, we are only sponsoring it with a prize. The US companys offering the prizes have run into problems allowing Canadians to attend the hunt as the state they are from have restrictions on who can get prizes. Most US contests will not allow Canadians to enter or win contests. I thinks its crazy and personally do not agree with it but thats the way it is. Maybe someday we will have an Excalibur contest and not allow Americans to win! :D

Never argue with an idiot; they will only bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience!

I don't like it either. All or none I say!!!! I have been blessed with some great frindships with Canadian members on this forum and I have to say that if the rolls were reversed I'd be concerned as well. I wish that Excalibur could have found an alternative source so that would allow ALL can participate. But then again, what do I know :? .
God Bless !!!!!!!!!

Tell you guy's what. If you all want to have a Bear hunting contest, I'm all for it.
Many of you know I've been a Bear hunter for a while, and Love the sport. If anyone wants to do a contest for Bear only I'm in. I will co-ordinate the contest, and post frequently what the standings are. As well, I will donate another set of Custom Arrows, of the winners choice, when announced. And, I may take a couple people to my place for a three day hunt as well, during the contest, for those who do not have a place, nor can afford a place to hunt Bear.
How about that. :)

And I will speak to Peter about this and see what he has to say. :)

I think that would be a great idea. Excalibur might even be willing to donate a prize also.
