You have a heavy load to bear Scott, but don't forget you have a world of friends here who have come to love you, and care about what happens in your journey. We know about your family and friends, your strengths and passions, your challenges and triumphs. We know you will carry on, and we will be here to pray for you and support you. I'm looking forward to some good news.

God Bless.

Bunch of sick puppies on this forum, but we all have one thing in common. We have a mutual bond in our Lord and hunting which combined can beat anything. Sax, your never alone. Praying for you and get well soon.

All the best and fight on Sax.

Think of the wonderful experiences you have shared in the outdoors to this point and those that you have yet to experience.

Had to have another 2 units of blood yesterday and they have extended my IV therapy another 14 days so the fight continues. My pic line seems to be doing ok,I'm greatful they dont have to stick me each time.
I got 11 or 12 sticks in the hospital before they put in the pic,my arm looks like it's gone through a wood chipper.
They can only use the left arm as the right arm has my dialysis port.
My iron level is up to 7 so that is an improvement.
Well,I'm off to mayo for another 3 - 4 hour treatment.
It's not so bad,comfortable recliner,flat screen TV,anything (within reason) I want to drink,wonderful staff
And then I go see momma after and get treated like a king.
Thanks to everyone for going through this with me,the prayers and support mean more than words can say.

I am on the renal diet and it can be confusing
I have come up with an easy way to do it
tell your friend that if he puts something in his mouth that tastes good
spit it out, he can't have it
That is the renal diet

I will pray for you friend
PKD is bad and can be very painful

you are right about my friends I am a lucky man
I don't feel tough I just try to keep a positive attitude and turn it over to God
he is my strength
I like to say. $h!t happens. Misery is optional

Sax, whenever I have a crappy day and feel myself slipping into a funk about something trivial I come here and read your posts. You go through hell and keep going. You are as brave as you are tall!

Keep on fighting. We're here praying for you!
