My hunting room update

Post by crazyfarmer »

I finally got this building in Late January and little over a month later i've finished everything but 2 peices of trim. Its a 12x28 with a 4ft porch. Plenty space for what I need. I opted for just 2 windows since I want WALL SPACE.

excuse the pics since they are from my phone

here is the building coming off the truck
Image

started framing the ceiling and putting insullation in
Image

insullation/framing done(8ft ceilings)
Image

drywall and mudding done
Image

2 coats of primer on
Image

2 coats of green paint on sidewalls and trimwork on windows done. Starting laminate flooring
Image

Flooring done... still working on side trim
Image

its alot bigger than it looks since its hard to show size in a box LOL. Deer heads will start going in this weekend...I did all the work except for the drywall. Its been a blast so far

Excellent idea!!!! Very nice!!!!! I know it is taking space from your room/wall but a closet with clothes bar , drawers and/or small cabinet cupboard - all behind a bi-fold door or double door - would provide an out of sight location for clothes, boots, knives, rangefinders, compasses, GPS,archery odds, licences, etc, etc. It would be an easy incorporation. Running water -hot and cold - the envy of all.
