It does happen fairly often, when that happens just put another string on & keep shooting. Then reserve the center serving on the string that separated.

All my strings seem to wear that way . The serving isn't broken , just pushed aside where the two prongs of the trigger mechanism hold them in place . I wax the string but it dosent seem to help .

That is what I figured but was wondering if a dab glue or clear nail polish at the ends may help prevent this or that may cause problems for reserving and not help at all what do you think?

Two things that can cause this problem are: Too much wax on serving and too much over travel on crankaroo. Not saying that's your problem[s] just a possibility to consider. I wouldn't put any form of glue on a serving, doubt it would stick long to begin w/ if there's any wax on it. YMMV.

I may try clamping a string nock at each end to keep it from seperating.

I had some serving seperating at the claws. I found out twisting the factory string, counter clock wise, "fixed" the problem. Maybe this will help.

My Exomax is doing that from the trigger too, but if I tighten the string it will make the brace hight go past the back line, as it is just barley inside of it now. Am I right about that?
