I picked up my new Vortex on Friday. What a sweet crossbow!! I haven't had a chance to shoot it outside yet but it's driving tacks at 15 yards down in the basement. I haven't even adjusted the scope. The fellow at the local bowshop (Carl) did a real nice job with the assembly. Looking forward to getting outside with it to shoot at some longer yardages. Come on turkey season!!
I had an Exocet a few years back with the carved limb tips. I liked it also but this Vortex is SO nice!

Yep, excal ownership is great aint it?! Other crossbow owners cant understand our love for excaliburs and you cant explain it, its just the best bow at that price range and they shoot well. Glad to hear your enjoying the vortex and WELCOME TO THE FORUM!!!

Finally going to get to shoot at some longer outdoor yardages today.
Heading out to a friends farm for some archery fun and maybe a little skeet shooting as well.
