When trollong for turkeys I like the folding (web seat) which hangs on a strap around your neck. If I am going to sit in a blind, I like a good bag (folding) chair with foot rest.

Must have comfort

I just use the bottom half of any of my climbers, summit, gorilla, can put my back against any size tree I want and be comfortable.

I have a seat that I where like a backpack when I sit down there is a bar that flips back and instant relining chair. Also has a game pouch on the back and a removable case for calls and such.
Made by Eastman Outfitters.
I picked it up a few years ago at Lebaron's for $50 there is deluxe version but I forget the price of it.
Even Cheaper here

Some great seats and suggestions!
I'll be looking for a cozy seat this turkey season as well.

That is a great idea adapting what you already have.
