WOW!!!! I can recall way to many names and shows
My mother would give a dollar to my sister every saturday
We went to the Dairy Bar for lunch, then to the movies , where we bought popcorn and a drink.

What a GREAT link!!!! The Tower Theater was my mom's Sat. afternoon baby sitter. It cost a quarter to get in,and a dime for a soda pop. Most of the time it was a double feature and had a cartoon in the middle. What a great memory of some great times.

That brought back some memories. When I was young we would set around the black and white TV. on Friday and Saturday nights and see some of those old movies.

What a great video! It brings back a lot of memories.
I was wondering why they "missed" my favourite when they got to the character actors and then the western series, but they saved the best for last with the tribute to Audie Murphy.

Nice memories. Older one gets, the faster time seems to fly by. Only good thing about it is the old age pension when the goverment pays us to live. The next 15 years to that should sail by quick. Wife has me on a retirement plan and I call it "freedom 95" . But at age 50 I still play hockey with a bunch of 20 year olds. Still young at heart. Good thing I don't have to skate with them, only have to stop the puck.
