Fore end cover

Post by Dereck »

I have always found my fore end slippery with gloves on.
So I was at Princess Auto today and saw camo beer bottle coolers.
Well being me bells went off and I said I can turn that into something :D
With a little trimming and some Automotive two way tape this is what I came up with.

now all you need is a cover to warm up and silence that noisey buttstock. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v453/ ... C02231.jpg

I used neoprene for mine, it was a double wine bottle carrier in the beginning of it's life, now it keeps my cheeks warm! I doubled up the material and added zippers to each side for storage, I keep an extra string, stringer, TP and a few other items in there. Been a great addition to the bow and gets its share of use.
rubber cement works great on the neoprene.

Very good idea!
