Left the house at 5:30, set up by 5:45. Not much of a story, a couple clucks, a couple gobbles and I was heading home.
22lb 9oz, 9" beard, 1" spurs. Plucked it right away, wife is cleaning it up and I am off to work!

Managed to be home before the kids got on the bus, this is the tom that stayed out of range opening morning while I was out with my son, we passed on two jakes in our decoys waiting for this fellow.

Good job on the quick hunt Pyd! Ben and I were just looking at the photo with your kids and he said "It looks like their parents got a turkey for them." CONGRATS!!!!
