Sorry Hoss, don't know about them, some of the guys around here with the 15's and 47's are useing a burris speed dot or the fast fire, I've shot both and thinking about a speed dot on my max, hope this helps

Green lasers in the "laser" crowd are called "greenies". Green operates on a different frequency than red lasers. Red lasers produce a "dot" on the target while green will project the entire beam, meaning the beam from the laser device to the target will be illuminated like a neon string.
Because of the frequency difference it is safe to say that green is far more dangerous to the human eye. I have a green laser that can pop a black balloon across an average room.
I am sure you did your homework, but there is a huge difference between green and red lasers besides the color. One puts an impact mark on the target, the other is a solid green line that leads from the target right back to the shooter.

green lasers are supposed to be visible at longer ranges. it also takes more battery to power them. i believe there supposed to be limited to a certain power range.many of the ones on ebay are shipped direct from china. i got a bad one but paypal got my money back. you get what you pay for as usual.

In construction a green rotary laser level is more visible but they are also alot more money compared to the regular red lasers

Definitely much easier to see in daylight, bright sunlight can actually eliminate red laser.

Green is much more visable to the eye, but the biggest problem with the green is they do not operate in cold climates. Temps below 32f will cause the green to die.

Since u mention it I thought this was a funny fix for that problem...
