I put up 3 ladder stands today on the farm i hunt!

I met up with my hunting friend Ian today we put up 3 ladder stands.All were near the swamp and the deer sign was every where.Here is a pic of my 22' ladder stand thats near a afalfa field and soy bean field.The mosquitos were bad but is was fun to get back in the woods! pic of 22' ladder

I heard the giant crankaroo Bstout. If i can get my 3 or 4 wheeler into the tree area i just hook it up with rope & pull it up with them. Then i ratchet them off secured. I dislike taking nasty falls!

Its a Big Dog 22' ladder stand, model BDL-385 Lancer Extreme.I got it at Dunhams sports for $110 on sale last year.It's a bear to put up,we used my friends winch to hoist it up.It's a cool stand and the deer don't see you.I use a hunter's saftey vest with 30' lifeline rope,i'm always attached to the tree going up and down!All i do is slide the prusic knot up as i climb.

Here is another of the stands we put up it's a 15' ladder deep in the woods where we've seen lot's of big deer.The area has a swamp,alfalfa,soy beans and apple orchards around.I'm hoping to shoot a big one here!

Talking of briars, picked 9 gals of blackberries fer my mrs. Have to go real slow cause good size rocks, to bad i don't own a tractor with a bucket & Hoe/on it. Then i just cut the trees down as i go,
