OT/Oil leak has stopped in the Gulf!

Good news so far. More testing to be done but BP has video on the news places showing no oil escaping. Fantastic. May this thing hold forever and Lord help to get the mess cleaned up quickly if at all possible.

Seems like mankind unleashes some major disasters in his quest for wealth.

Let's hope it stays stopped, but let's also hoped the lessons offered are lessons learned by those in charge.
Seems to me the greedy folks in charge (both government and company officials) might have been more concerned with the $$$$ escaping rather than the destruction of the environment and the impact on people's lives.

I somewhere read the oil companies are the largest contributors to presidential campaign funds - both Democrat and Republican. They want to own whoever is in office! Seems like there just might be some truth to that statement.

I'll keep those in the Gulf in my hopes and prayers. I know many of people have had a change in their life. BP is screwing up not only on domestic territory but over in the MiddleEast too.
