As some of you know, I had hoped to get my 79 year old dad out for at least one more moose RUT hunt, like the hunts that he grew up with. Well both him and myself applied to 29 archery and I got the Bull tag. I could not hardly believe it.

Now I just need to find an able body to carry the moose out for me if we get one

Good luck to all that were successful and even the ones that were not.

12 years in a group of 4 in area 41(North Bay, no guaranteed group size) and no one has gotten a tag for cow or bull :x . This year I said sc*w it and did not even apply. I will hunt with my crossbow for my calf. Been a couple of years since I was able to bag a calf. Hopefully this year.

I have one question, while crossbow hunting for moose does everyone use stands? I can't see trudging through the bush looking for the moose.
