Older Excal models from 95-04 & why they're Valued ?

Post by vixenmaster »

After reading a new thread about price/value on a Blk. vixen. I have thought about why some models are more desireable than others. What model is the most sought after ? Imho the Blk vixen with mag tip limbs & would rate as that! then i would say the Exomag has a very large following the machined riser with mag tip limb. If i had extra funds i have a model in mind,

As an owner of one of the last Exomags ever made, I know of what you speak. As such, I wouldn't trade it for even two of any of the current models. That's on the condition Excalibur doesn't start manufacturing them again.

What are the odds of that? One never knows.

Ive been looking, and the ones that seem hardest to come by are the black vixens with mag tips and the vixen deluxe. Ive never had the pleasure of being able to fire a exomag. Good thing too, I would want one then!

I have a 94 Exomag I bought from Bill at the factory that I wouldn't trade for any other bow. It's got deer every year, shoots as good as it ever did and when I had a trigger issue, when it was about 10 years old, Excalibur fixed it for free. I only paid 1 way shipping. Still shoot aluminum arrows and wasp broadheads. I owned 2 different Barnetts before and they weren't good enough to be in the same case as this bow.

Glad to hear that you gentlemen like the Exomag. I just bought a used 2004 from a fellow. I am having a hard time WAITING for it. I have about a month to get things ready for hunting season.
