Anyone use the bugtamer gillie suits? They appear to have a good camo pattern but I was wondering how they preform against skeeters.Stan

I have an older suit, pants, jacket and mittens, and it has held up well. It is NOT the ghillie type, but provides excellent camoflage. I look like a bush. I don it wearing only my underwear, and can feel every breeze. Nice and cool, which lessens sweat.

The skeeters crawl around on the face cover and the buzzing noise makes my skin crawl. LOL

A baseball hat underneath works great to keep it away from your face.

It is not easy to see through the mesh, but you can SPARINGLY apply a magic marker to darken the area where your eyes are, which helps. DON'T use a marker that stinks, and less is best.

Wash normally, but NEVER put it in the dryer. It will shrink horribly. Eeven somewhat wet, it will feel great.

Beware snagging it on stickers.

This year we will be trying the Thermocell, and see if it lives up to it's reputation on our swamp skeeters.
