camo dipped wifes 30/30

Post by Hoss »

I dipped her 30/30 it needed it bad. the wood stock was worn and so was the forearm. I decided to do the scope not really knowing how well it would turn out but I was pleasently surprized..
I dipped the stock and forearm first made a few mistakes as to coverage so I dipped the twice to cover small spots that didnt take the first time. they came out good but darker due to being dipped twice. i dipped the scope once and got it right the first time. you can see the difference it made once vs twice. I was afraid to dip the scope a second time afraid that I would mess up the first one and I like it..so she has a darker stock combo with a lighter scope..it will have to do for now..

Looks good . . .I kinda like the darker camo. Nice work.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.

Looks good Hoss. Think I like the darker color but hard to tell from a picture.
