I've been around the forum for a lot of years now and it seems that all too often there is a difficulty in describing a problem a member is having with his/her Excalibur.
Someone will have a problem or question and the name used or description of the part in question is not clear, so it's difficult to answer.
It would be nice if Excalibur would add a picture with the names they use to describe the parts so we could all be "on the same page" when we discuss the crossbow.
For example what I might call the hold down clip, you might call the spring thingy, or tension clip, or that &*#@ thing that bends when you load an arrow!
If we had a simple picture with part names assigned it would be easier to discuss a lot of the problems and/or modifications we encounter.
Maybe something like this (but with more detail and different views and the names Excalibur uses to describe the parts) even making a drawing and making it a "sticky" would be a big help IMO. -

Re: a picture is worth a thousand words
Great idea Wabi. Just last week I had a sticky situation. Turns out I had a brain fart and rammed the ginsfore in the blankensphemer. Man, was that embarassing. BillT and the crew had it straightened out in a hurry though.
When I first joined the forum I tried to learn the terms for the parts of the bow as fast as I could, but It took a while. General archery tems like P.O.I and F.O.C would help if they were posted too.

That's a great idea to have a labelled pic of a crossbow available.
Perhaps being displayed by a model in a g-string as well??

Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.
