Just went to string my crossbow and see the string had a frayed strand so l got the new one l had and put it on but seemed shorter stroke took off and it's 1" shorter. are strings different lengths or is it because it's new bought for equinox as l bought it used last year

The endless loop "Excel" string is made short because it will stretch after it is on the bow for a while.

If its the new Excel endless loop its just gong to take awhile fer it to creep. Its the right size/length i have 2 of them

Evan though it seems a lot shorter it will still shoot very close to the old one it is no big deal.
