Congrats Bob. I was afraid those deer may have set you up! They've been known to do that to a fella!
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. Gen 27:3-4

Way to call em Bob
I was expecting a buck but you did not specify well done.
Your table did not work for me today I hunted 2 hours this morning then it started to poor rain so I packed it up and got a short evening hunt in but no Deer seen today.
Enjoy those tender loins :D congratulations.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now peel those backstraps out, slice 'em up, and throw them in the smoker or dehydrator.

OK, I'll admit it -
I've done that with the last 2 deer and it makes the best jerky all.

BTW - the table hit it this evening for fishing. :D
Took the expert along to show me how to break the slump (haven't been catching any), and it worked!

Yes,
I used our zip code and it pretty well hit it as far as the time. The fishing peaked right with the chart.

I had planned to go hunting this evening, but Michael wanted to go fishing instead. The days of good weather for fishing are slipping away.

Ok I’m jealous now; I have to get to the field tonight. That looks so good. Last year I did them on the charcoal grill cut up and wrapped with bacon, the wife who hates eating deer (all in the head) couldn’t even resist.
