Post by bob1961 »

i have been patterning the same 5 deer for the past week according to this new solnar forecasting web site i found....

http://www.usprimetimes.com/zip.html

Image

this thing as been spot on to when i have seen these deer at the times it lists as high times for each part of the day....the 5 deer i have seen every day since monday are a group of 3 breeder doe's one with a yearling and a small buck with a spike on one side bout 9" tall and a forkhorn on the oter side bout 10" tall and he is on the far right, the yearling is just past the tree on the left....he is not legal with PA's 3 point to a side restriction here....but one of those breeder doe's will be fine with my taste buds....not braggin but i should have pic's tommorrow  .........bob

Good luck, but as always dont count your chicks before they hatch- thats why they call it hunting.
Take time to enjoy each & everyday that GOD has given us- be thankful.

Yeah, mid afternoon here...still waiting on his post...he must have had a long drag out...poor old man is just too tuckered out to post...yeah...that's it
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. Gen 27:3-4

didn't go out till bout 2:30pm and got busted by the buck in the 1st picture and he is always last to showup :( ....thought well heck i'll sit here and see what "might" happen....30 minutes later here comes that doe i took with 2 others on the trail i'm thinking they will use....i'm set up just sitting on top of a big ol rock like a pimple on the nose of a girl on prom night  ....i was at the ready, looking through the scope at her waiting for her to pass me a lil bit to get a quartering away shot....seen the tree i wanted her by for the shot pass through my field of view and squeezed the trigger and heard that sound we all love to hear  ....she ran bout 10 yds behind a dead fall out of sight but i could see the whole area around it and she didn't come out....then i heard the dead fall of her in the leaves, all this in bout 5 seconds  ....hit her a lil higher then i wanted to but it was going downward and forward....the hole you see is the exit hole  ........bob
