New to forum

Post by LUMBERDUDE »

I bought a exomax last year and couldn't be happier. I have shot it 3 times at a deer and harvested all 3. I would like to thank all of you for your opinions on this forum. I researched crossbows for 3 months before buying one. Last year I shot a 4-1/2 year old 7 point. This year I have shot a 8-1/2 year Doe and a gimpy 3-1/2 year old small rack 8 point. Looking forward to reading and learning more about hunting with the best crossbow available. :D

Congratulations on your success with your Excalibur and welcome to a fine board!
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. Gen 27:3-4

Welcome and good shootin.

How do you determine the age we have always guessed the age at my camp but don't have a real way of telling the age.I heard it was something to do with the teeth?

The Michigan DNR aged all 3 deer. The processor I take my deer to have them come by once a week. The main reason they are there is to check deer for TB.
