My Dad told me about a time when he just started hunting where he sat the morning went for a walk then laid down to take a nap.When he woke up a 4 pt was at 40 yds he picked up his 30/30 and from laying down shot it.
I have fell asleep in the woods and never saw anything when I woke up maybe I don't snore

Congrats Terry. If I'm out for an all day sit, I tend to start dozing off around 1pm or so, since being up at o'dark hundred, so it's not uncommon for me to curl up beside a tree and have a bit of a snooze. What really pisses me off is when a squirrel runs across me, thinking I'm just a downed log.

Dad went to hunting camp with 7 more Guys. Going to be gone a week, leave fri. set up camp, hunt sat. to sat.
First day the guys get one little one. Day two after morning food is done everyone is deciding where to go and what to do, the oldest guy [ doing breakfast] says, go ahead I`ll finish the dishes, then go down the logging road to the clearing and post for the morning. I don`t think he even moved once he sat down. At noon when the " hunting party" come back to camp there was no food ready. At 12:20 there was one shot,
well at least somone is seeing somthing, one more shot, another and another. HEY those shots have to be from a single shot. Nine or ten shots from a singleshot, that`s got to be John. Then John walks into camp, I need some help, I`ve got deer all over the woods.
Here John fell asleep, woke up and 6 deer were standing there looking at this strange thing in the woods.
He picked up the single shot and started shooting, and every shot another deer fell. When the whole deer camp came to field dress and drag deer out they got 8 deer. Every tag was full season was over.[ even gave away the little one]

i have not talked to eric did he hunt with his brother .i droped a deer off last night and the fellow had a big bull hanging .said it was erics brothers
