Congrats on filling up the freezer! Isn't it amazing how different the hunting laws are in each state. #00 buckshot, shooting from an ATV, using dogs...if I did what you did here in Illinois and got caught I'd probably lose my hunting rights for 10yrs., lose my ATV, my truck, my gun, the deer, and pay a hefty fine to boot. In other words, NC sounds like a cool place to live! 8) Gary

Let's see, we get 4 buck tags and two doe tags that come with our Sportsman's License. Dad bought us our lifetime license when we were born so dad justs picks up my tags when he buys his license avery year. If we run out of tags, we can go back to any place that sells NC hunting licenses and get extra doe tags and I think that they are free. My sister goes hunting with us but she can't handle a gun yet. I'm shooting my new 308 so when my sister gets ready to hunt, she can use the 243 that dad bought me when I was 7 years old. Sis is a lot smaller than I was when I was 7. We eat a lot of deer meat and try to donate one or two deer to the hunters for the hungry program every year. Dad is having a great year and he really is enjoying time in the woods again but he is also looking for a job. I hope that he finds one soon, I know that he would be good at whatever he finds. Please pray for us!!!!

Congradulations! You two are quite the team. By the way, I never killed a deer that didnt bleed. Your pics are fine in my book!

Congrats to the both of you.
I don't think too many people were offended from the blood...it sure doesn't bother me.
Hope to hear from your dad soon.
