jerk's at the range!

Went to the range today to check my zero on ibex.when I got there two guy's were set up on 1st lane so I set up on last lane.About 10 min.after I started shooting one of them walk's up to me and say's he doesn't appreciate me shooting up HIS haybale with that crossbow! Well being the southern gentleman I am,I explained to him nicely that this was a PUBLIC range and that I didn't know it was his haybale! That's when he said something about my manhood and crossbows.At that I explained how I could find another use for that 3ft stabilizer!!,and that I will NEVER apologise for my weapon of choice! Can u belieave this at a public range?!!!!!!

I would have taken down a license plate number and any other identifying info and turned him in to the local authorities.

A firing range where everyone is armed is no place for people who like to run their mouth.

The general population is overrun with idiots and you can encounter them at any public place.

At that I explained how I could find another use for that 3ft stabilizer!!

When reason and common sense don't win out, a good show of force may at least get them to shut up.

I have been hunting on public property since 2006 here in Georgia. Side by side with all types of bow hunters. I have never had a single problem. Not one spoken word against crossbows. Not even joking around.

I'm surprised.

You can still thank your lucky stars to be in Georgia. In Mississippi, an other uneducated places, they don't even allow crossbows on the range.

I left out the best part! I wasn't even shooting HIS haybale...I was shooting into my block target 2ft in front of the range target! I just packed up and went home...to old for drama!!!

Get one of those $10 key fob spy cameras off ebay and video the guy being a Dhead to show them.

Show up next time with about 6-8 friends with xbows and shoot the hell outta HIS target lol

With that guys logic I suppose the guy shooting a glass laminated recurve or longbow should be upset with the compound archer shooting up his bales. Guy or gal shooting primitive might as well be upset with with the trad shooter. Oh, you could of course vent on the CBer using a compound CB.
