left work early to take my son out hunting he did not want to go so i went solo and shot my personal best .he is only 7 points but 20" main beams and 17 inch spread .wish my son had shot it it would have been a great first for him

just wanted to add i shot the deer with my daughters 870jr 20 gauge last month my brother shot a bear with it and it has shot a few turkeys .the thing is great to carry around it's so compact and all the fire power you need .i have heard lots mention they love a 20 guage and i can see why.infact i have an 870 express 12 gauge i would trade for a 20 if anyone has one

Congrats Terry. The way you describe him, I think I saw that buck a couple weeks ago, at a distance. Good for you. Glad you got him.

Congrats Terry! I bet your Son won't turn down a hunting trip again! I made that mistake one time with my Dad when I was about 10...he wanted to take me "Swamp" Rabbit hunting. I thought it was along the same lines as "Snipe" hunting and refused to go.

Man, I was devastated when he brought those big bunnies home!
