Hi all. I'm a 36 year old male and just ordered myself a brown Vixen. That's right! I will be carrying around a petite girly bow! I don't care, I'll hold my head high. I'll just tell people that my real bow is in the shop and this one's a loaner.

Seriously - Don't know the story behind her hunting, but it's great to see more states allowing crossbow use. Can't be anything but good come from allowing hunters to have more choice in what they use to launch arrows. Sure it's a great way to get more youth and women interested in archery hunting, but everyone should be allowed to pick the type and model of bow that suits them best.
It doesn't matter if it's the Macho-ManX 400# or the pink Vixen as long as the owner enjoys the time spent hunting with it!

After this season I think I might just turn my nose up at the deer and stick to shooting 3D. Hate to bring it up again, but my poop brown Vixen didn't usually do too bad - it once even beat the warp-speed Scorpyd. (Sorry Rob, I just had to put that in this thread!)

I have no idea if it's possible, but I'd call Danny Miller and ask him if the Exomag rail could be shortened, or if he has an old Vixen rail he'd swap with you. Shortening the rail a couple inches would tame your Exomag.

I'd leave it the old color though, Tyler might want to use it. If you'd turn that boy loose with a pink Vixen there wouldn't bee a deer left in NC.

Hmmm, I just may do that Wabi. There is no doubt that if he had chose to use a crossbow this year he would have tagged out by now. He had 2 opportunity at bucks during archery season but both were over 20 yards which is his maximum shooting distance with his compound. The excessive weight on my Exomag is due to the Accudraw but it is an accessory that I have to have. What's a guy to do .

I was sitting on the ground in a turkey chair the morning of November 13th and managed to harvest not one, but two deer in the same morning! I shot a small one early in the morning at 30 yards and since there were other hunters out still hunting, I stayed put. About an hour later this buck came through with a doe. He stayed on the other side of a small hill for what seemed like forever, but was actually probably only 20 minutes. Finally, he wandered up the hill and I shot him at about 15 yards. It was a great day!

I just signed into this site to register to buy this for my daughter for Christmas. Today they raised the price to $494.99!! This is Bu$$@hit!! They also dont ship to Canada. I have a friend in Ohio who will take delivery for me but with this development it is not that good of a deal! What a way to conduct business!
