Re: Need advice
Sound like a good deal to me, I paid almost a $1000.00 back in 2004 for my Exomag and the right stuff package. If the warranty is transferable and you give it a good check over before you buy it then I would say grab it up.
If i'm not hunting i'm fishing, and if i'm not fishing i'm wishing.

Re: Need advice
That is a good deal on a great bow that can do it all .
I would not be concerned about buying used , these Excaliburs are well made and they back their warranty if you were to have a issue .
The Equinox is a great choice if you ever want to hunt Moose , Bear , Elk and of course Deer .
I love the thumb hole stock it is very comfortable and more natural of a hand position for me at least I would jump on it it will not last long at that price get yourself a Christmas gift

Sounds like a good deal if it's in good shape.
The most important part is the Excalibur label, not the model name.
I shoot a Phoenix and wouldn't really want anything heavier (in draw weight), but if you can try it out and be sure you can handle it I'd say you can't loose at that price.

Unless this bow has been totally abused
You can't go wrong with a new or used Excal.
Sounds good to me , I have an equinox and love it.

Thats not a bad price fer that model, & being stocky reckon you can cock it well enuff. You may need to shorten the cocking rope if'en yer shorter than 5' 10". Learn to reserve yer strings center serving & get couple extra strings. Keep yer fingers below the rail deck so the string don't take no hide blood n bones with it when you shoot. Nothing wrong with buying used Excals yer talking top quality CB's
Re: Need advice
Buy it at that price it is a heck of a deal.
If it turns out you want a lower lb bow you will not lose money on the resale

The bare bow with peep sights goes for 679.00 in Canada. At least thats what I paid for mine in '09. That bow with all the trim for that $ is a heck of a good deal IMHO. What scope is on it?
Excal is one bow I dont mind buying used. They are simple so not much can be abused or worn without being really obvious.

it's a good price and aslong as it's in good shape...rub a cotton ball on the limbs to check for cracks..
