What did I get myself into???

Next Wednesday (or Thursday, depending on the weather) I will be heading down to hilly, Harrison County, Ohio for a 3 day whitetail hunt. This is an unguided, fair chase, archery hunt where tree stands, food plots, lodging and food are provided. I'll be (rustic) lodging with 6 other ladies from Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia and North Carolina. Oh, and one from Michigan. All the ladies are at least 20 years (and more) younger than I am, excellent archers and all have been on many 'hunts'. None of them use a crossbow.

I've been packing for a week in anticipation. I'll be driving a Chevy pickup with a trailer hauling my 4-wheeler.

Just wanted to let you know about 'Laura's Excellent Adventure' and I will take pictures. We are allowed to take a buck only. Must be 8 point or better, so I expect to come back with.......................at least, a southern accent.

Hate to tell you, but this week is gun season in Ohio. A lot of those bucks (most of the older ones that survive) will be nocturnal next week.
