Time has come for snowshoes!

Post by wheelie »

Went out coyote hunting Saturday and had a tough time walking back in about 10 inchs of snow. Thought it might be easier to walk with snow shoes. Snowed all weekend since then, so dug my snowshoes out of closet and going to start wearing them. Anyone else going to start wearing them now?

I hunt near Brechin and am looking forward to snow cover as the deer tend to come to the south facing ridge where my late season stands are. Have never needed snow shoes but if I do I think the deer concentration will be higher as I always see a lot more sign and deer when hunting grouse in January

Don't 'shoe but been doing a good bit of Xcountry skiing.

Why hunt? Simple, it's BASIC. Why breath?!
