carved tip exocet

I added a classic excal to my colection of hunting gear, i sold my old PSE copperhead to a Buddy for his son, and i used the money to buy an excellent condition older wood stock Exocet; a "Jim Mansell" scribed his name on the trigger guard in 1987. I took it apart, cleaned it, added a new string and a Varizone scope. this thing shoots just as accurately as my new Exocet, it had some new limbs added about 5 years ago after a dryfire! Limb blew up and string disappeared the man said. :shock: I bought it for my nephew to use on our next huntand he was smiling from ear to ear when he tried it out for the first time. :D I was wondering if the year of 1987 is when this model was produced?

I'd raise the brace height some before I shot it, though. :wink:

Don't knowed the year of that one but the side safetys were on then back in 90 on the E'cets & went to back safety in 95 i think

I have the same one and love it,I have a red dot on mine!! shot the tom in my avatar with it:D not sure of the year it was made :?:

Bearclan, what you have is a Wolverine not an Exocet. The Wolverine was made from 1985-1992 when the Exocet was introduced.
The most important blood trail leads to the Cross...

TPM is correct on wolverine, i was bad sleepy when i saw the thread & didn't ck stock just read post words, Yers has a wooden stock.

My exocet is a 92 or 93 year and the stock is a dark grey with black marks on it.
