Practicing is always good

Post by Doe Master »

:) I have practiced this shot many a time just incase it happens . :)
I had 7 deer come in on my right . So I switched hands and shot this Doe lefthanded . :D
I shot her one of the X-ACT broadheads . I watched her pile up not 30 yards from the stand . :)

Congrats! Nice being able to use either side. I need to practice that more. Good job. Nice doe, great picture.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!

I can shoot my Excalibur left handed, but if I try it with a gun I'll flinch every time.

Congratulations! I should practice left handed. I always switch up in the tree and it felt fairly comfortable (I'm left eye dominate) but I've never pulled the trigger that way.

Nice shot Doemaster!! Did you bring your sled to pull her out? I might try shooting left someday. The thought of that seems awkward already.

I have tried shooting lefty while practicing. Pretty scary to say the least! That is awesome that you can do that with such accuracy! Congrats on your doe. Thats a nice pic with the fresh snow fall too.

So the "doemaster" lives up to his name! Congrats! That's a nice looking coyote. :D I've done some shooting on my offside too and I'm confident enough to do it in a hunting situation. It almost a necessity if you want to get the full advantage of hunting in a treestand.

Good job Kevin!

I got a huge kick out of getting your texts about not seeing and deer, and how there were no fresh tracks.... wah wah wah.... and then a few minutes later reading "I shot a doe!" :D :D :D How awesome! Just goes to show how things can change in an instant.

Congrats on the successful hunt and another good day in the woods with your Dad and brother!

P.S. Thanks for not shooting my buck. I'm giving him another year to get a bit bigger.

UPDATE
My brother took the deer to his place to take care of .When they skinned it . It became evident that we had another victim of the long buckshot shot . She had a pellet under the skin behind the shoulder and another had broke one of the spine upper bones . :? :x
