Excalibur is proud to introduce their new S5 String Shock and Sound Suppression System. This exciting new accessory uses a combination of modern vibration reduction technology and common sense thinking to produce the most durable and effective shock and sound reduction possible. The new S5 System attaches easily and quickly to the mounting holes in the riser of all recent Excalibur crossbows, and will work either in conjunction with Excalibur’s Dissipator Bar System or on its own to quiet shot noise and reduce vibration. This system will come from the factory mounted in 2011 on both Excalibur’s Exomax and Equinox 225 pound draw weight crossbows, and will be available separately as an accessory to attach to any of Excalibur’s other crossbow models.

I'm interested in this. I've read were too many modifications are needed for the STS in order for it to fit correctly. What month does Excalibur usually intro. their new products?

Hmmmm...wonder how much is quiets the bow down?...may be worth it.
