Wonder if they create extra fletch noise during travel with that design. Makes me think so.

Interesting desighn. They look a bit gimmicky to me. I can't see any advantage to the wave shaped vane.
It would be slightly heavier and definately create more drag. Drag alone isn't the desired goal.
It's the way a vanes mounted with a helical twist or offset angle that turn an arrow. So what possitive difference could the wave make ? Maybe I missing something here maybe?
With an engineering background, I can't help but relate it to an existing technology. The prop of a boat, fan blade, turbine, Water turbine prop, etc
But they usually benefit from a smoother aerodynamic desighn. The goal to turning efficiency is to limit drag.

I am thinking the thicker section of the vein is so you have more to see from the rear as you shoot it , it is a fiber optic vein the thicker sections act as a lite pipe.

For literally thousands of years bowhunters have struggled with the dilemma of seeing their arrows in flight and consequently knowing if they found their mark. In recent years heavy lighted nocks have been the answer for some, but are not legal in all 50 states nor allowed for Pope and Young Club entries. In lieu of this Norway Industries set out to do what they do best; break the rules and develop products that change the game and force the industry to re-think what it knows of possibilities and products. The result is the new edge-glow ZEON Fusion Vane. See the difference ZEON Fusion Vanes can make in your hunting success this year.

ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR HEAVY LIGHTED NOCKS

POPE AND YOUNG LEGAL

DEEP SUCTION-FIT BASE FOR INSTANT ADHESION

ULTRA-BRIGHT FOR UNMATCHED VISIBILITY IN ALL LIGHTING CONDITIONS

HIGH PROFILE WITH RIBBED DESIGN FOR INCREASED ARROW STEERING

FLETCH AND ADHERE LIKE STANDARD FUSION VANES

Ahhh... that makes a little more sense now. lighting.
It would be interesting to test one. You would imagine there would have to be a small compromise between best flight characteristics and Light gathering desighn.
I bet they look great in flight though!

I picked up some samples of these vanes at the ATA show. They look impressive. I have yet to fletch any and try them though.
