excal x-act

Post by one shot scott »

All this talk of broadheads lately really has me wondering who here has tried the x-act mechanicals from Excalipurr? I have tested the boltcutters and was really impressed but you never hear much about the x-acts? I see them for sale quite often so they are accessable. Anyone have some input? :D

:) The only drawback for me has been hitting trees on the other side has toasted the heads as well as my arrows . But that is a small price to pay for a harvested animal . :)

I have never hunted wiht them but have shot them quite a bit during practice out of my Equinox. They fly great and penetration is super. They are a very high quality head. I couldn't imagine a properly hit animal going very far..they would leave a nasty hole.

I have hunted with the X-Acts and the Bolt cutters. They perform well for me. They both worked flawlessly. If they are good for Bill, they are good enough for me.
Thanks,
Raymond
