My friend got a Axiom and it shoots every bit as good as my Exocet! In fact he split his first arrow on the 5 shot! [my custom built gt lazer 2] He couldnt afford a more expensive bow but instead of buying one with training wheels..... He got a Excalibur. Smart choice..can only lead to a another model!

Any petro-chemical (plastic) will dry out and harden with age. I'm sure it will last longer than I will, but no one can say for sure how straight the rail will be, or if the riser will hold up, say 10 years from now. I do know that my Alum. will not change.

The only thing different from the first year Axiom is the glass filled mainframe . ALL other components are the same as any other excalibur . :)

I remember when the Glock first came out to the IPSC scene. Shooters poohooed it and said it wouldn't fly!

I like the aluminum, but that is a really good point Boo. Many polymer framed handguns followed the Glock didn't they.
If the riser is not "plastic" ........aluminum still?
