got another scope today

traded my son my old 3x9 nikon for his 4x12 leopold var x11 with adj. ao hated to trade my nikon for a leopold oh well .he wanted smaller scope and i wanted adj.ao for my arrow testing.works great no more parallex .works great punched a few holes today siteing in.also got new millet rings at gun shop.with some money the wife gave me .shes the only one working now till i get better.i told her they only cost 30 bucks.she said times are tough right now and your buying scope rings.i said yes i know but i needed them.white lie didn,t tell her they realy cost 60 bucks.did real good shooting in wind today at 30yds .kept it on 7 power at 30yds .tryed 12 it was to much set there and watched crosshairs shake as my heart beat.can,t wait to try at 50yds on calm day.a little big for hunting but good till then.mite leave it on for better light transmiting .or put my little nikon shotgun scope back on for hunting.
