Xbow Breakdown

Post by Onetimeonly x--> »

I seen Bill T. breakdown a Xbow and use a double rifle hard case for travel. I myself am going to do the same
for a trip this year due to limited space in a vehicle. Has anyone seen a change in POI. after reassembly?
The area is new, so first day or two will be scouting and setting up. I have plenty of time between now and then
to break it down and see. Definitely will shoot prior to the first hunt. Just wondering if anyone experienced
something of a change?

Ditto the above and use rifle case also. There's real tight tolerance between riser and rail w/ two lips that prevent side to side movement.

I have a green colored plastic arrow case, 17" x 36" long, 6" thick, that I used to carry 3 doz arrows and hip quiver, plus small box of tools in, when I shot archery tournaments. Got it down and dusted it off, and re-foamed it, and can take crossbow apart, put it in, plus arrows, hip quivers (2) and tools in, and works perfect. I think (but not sure as its 15 plus yrs old) its a plano. It works perfect for the Exomax, and I am sure I never paid alot for it, not even sure if its still made, but with foam, super protective of your bow and equipment.

I do the same. I take the bow off the riser and put it in a double gun case. Works great...and shoots as true every time.
